On and after 1st July, 2017 in India all the persons who classified as taxable person under GST Act, are need to have GST registration. In this article we tried to cover the list of documents which required for GST registration in India.
1. PAN Card of the Business or Applicant
2. Identity and Address Proof along with Photographs
(i) For identity proof – PAN, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card or Voters Identity card can be submitted.
(ii) For address proof – Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar card, Voters identity card.
Above three document are required in case of following persons
Proprietary Concern – Proprietor
Partnership Firm Or LLP – Managing/Authorized/Designated Partners
Hindu Undivided Family – Karta
Company – Managing Director, Directors and the Authorised Person
Trust – Managing Trustee, Trustees and Authorised Person
Association of Persons or Body of Individuals –Members of Managing Committee (personal details of all members are to be submitted but photos of only ten members including that of Chairman are to be submitted)
Local Authority – CEO or his equivalent
Statutory Body – CEO or his equivalent
Others – Person(s) in Charge
3. Business Registration Document
Proprietorships : No requirement as the proprietor and proprietorship are considered the same legal entity.
Partnership firm : Partnership deed
LLP or Company : Incorporation certificate from MCA
Other Entities (society, trust, club, Govt Departments, AOP and BOI) : registration certificate can be provided.
4. Address Proof for Place of Business
In Case of Own premises : Any document in support of the ownership.
Latest Property Tax Receipt
For Rented or Leased Premises: Rent or Lease Agreement
Other Cases : Consent letter of the owner. With support of any document like Municipal Khata copy or Electricity Bill copy.
5. Bank Account Proof :
Bank Account No.,
Indian Financial System Code (IFSC)
6. Digital Signature : Class 2 Digital Signature
